About Mankong Counsel

Mankong Counsel was founded in Nonthaburi with one straightforward purpose: to give retirees and pension holders in Thailand a place where their questions are taken seriously and their paperwork is explained clearly. The word mankong (มั่นคง) means steady and secure in Thai — and that's the spirit we try to bring to every client relationship.

Pension matters can feel daunting. Statements arrive in unfamiliar formats. Offices send letters that require a response. Contribution histories get scattered across employers and years. Many people feel unsure whether they're receiving what they should be — or whether they have any recourse if a decision seems wrong. Mankong Counsel exists to help with exactly that.

We work with clients on three core areas: reviewing and explaining pension documents, gathering records on your behalf, and representing you through formal review processes when a pension decision is questioned. Each service is priced simply and transparently, so you know what you're agreeing to before we begin.

Our office is based at 18 Ratchaphruek Road in Talat Khwan, Nonthaburi — well connected by public transport and easy to reach from Bangkok. We welcome clients in person, and we're equally comfortable corresponding by phone or email for those who prefer it.

What we hear most often from people after their first appointment is that they didn't realise the situation was as manageable as it turned out to be. That's what we're here for.

How We Work

The principles we follow on every case, regardless of size or complexity.

Careful Document Review

Every document we receive is read thoroughly before we discuss it with you. We don't rely on summaries or assumptions.

Confidential Handling

Personal and financial information is stored securely and shared only where needed to progress your matter, and only with your knowledge.

Written Summaries

After each consultation or update, we provide a written summary so you always have a clear record of where things stand.

Regular Updates

We keep you informed as things develop. If there's nothing new to report, we'll say so — you won't be left wondering.

Transparent Fee Structure

All fees are stated before work begins. If anything changes, we discuss it with you first. There are no unexpected charges.

Same Adviser Throughout

Your matter stays with one person from start to finish. You won't need to re-explain your situation to a different person each time.

Pension Legal Support in Nonthaburi and Beyond

Mankong Counsel offers specialist assistance with pension-related legal matters to individuals across the greater Bangkok region and throughout Thailand. Our work covers document review, administrative liaison with pension and social security offices, and representation through formal challenge processes.

Pension law in Thailand involves the Social Security Act, the Government Pension Fund, and in some cases private employer schemes. Each framework has its own rules, timelines, and appeal pathways. Understanding which applies to your situation — and what steps are available — is often the hardest part. We help clarify that from the outset.

We work with a range of clients: recent retirees who have questions about their first statements, longer-term recipients who notice a change in their payment, and people who have received a formal decision they feel does not reflect their actual contribution history. Each situation is considered on its own facts.

Appointments can be arranged at our Nonthaburi office or by telephone. We respond to all enquiries within one working day.
